Ingredients for Cinnamon Rolls
For the dough:
- 500 g of flour
- 2 sachets of yeast (briochin)
- 50 g of sugar
- 100 g melted butter
- 25 ml of lukewarm milk
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 100 g melted butter
- 120 g of brown sugar
- 3 tbsp ground cinnamon
- Optional: dark chocolate chips for added indulgence
For the icing :
- 100 g cream cheese (Philadelphia type)
- 50 g of soft butter
- 150 g of icing sugar

Preparation of Cinnamon Rolls
- Preparation of the dough
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the egg, melted butter and lukewarm milk.
- Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover it with a clean cloth and let it rise for 1 to 2 hours, until it doubles in volume.
- Preparation of the filling:
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to form a sweet paste.
- Assembling the cinnamon rolls:
- Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a large rectangle about 1 cm thick.
- Brush the dough generously with the mixture of butter, sugar and cinnamon. If you wish, add a few dark chocolate chips for a delicious surprise.
- Roll the dough into a long sausage shape. Then cut slices about 3 cm thick and place them in a buttered dish.
- Cover again and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Cooking :
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
