Now iconic, its name means “Bear” in Icelandic and Danish. The bear symbolizes strength, resistance, creativity, confidence and connection with the energy of the earth. The two French designers were inspired by travels to the four corners of the world and the symbolism of the bear to outline the brand's values. It was around the animal totem that they wrote their bear stories. Björn's desire, through his singular and powerful identity, is to go ever further in originality! The bear Björn takes to heart to support an association truly committed to the protection of its own and to the natural habitat of us all: the Earth .An association managed entirely by volunteers, aiming to protect, educate and act for the good of wild species, particularly bears. Aves carries out actions to protect nature and free or captive wildlife. For example, the project called Renatur'Action aims to return to nature certain lands which have been overexploited by intensive agriculture. Also committed to the Pays de l'Ours association for the preservation of this species in its natural habitat, Björn gets his hands dirty by participating in these actions and donating part of his turnover to these two associations.
